Copenhagen Old Town Private Walking Tour
What your day looks like
On our private walking tour of the Copenhagen Old Town, shoot back in time and be captivated as we trace in the footsteps of Copenhagen's historical roots, revealing the hidden treasures of the city that hide behind snug street corners. If you know where to look, you'll find charming, creaky, old buildings that give recognition to a bygone era. Time-travelling back through history, we start by looking at the magnificent brick structure of Copenhagen City Hall. A little further in time will bring us past the Church of Our Lady (also known as Copenhagen Cathedral), where the Crown Prince and Princess married. We will get acquainted with notable Danes at the University of Copenhagen and The Round Tower and admire the multicoloured facades of the houses surrounding Gråbrødretorv on our way to the main shopping street, Strøget. Oh! And we will get to sample a tasty treat as we visit the Bolsje factory. Before we end, Slotsholmen ("Palace Island") will come into view as we talk about the stately Christiansborg Palace, a local scene for both royalty and politicians. And that's it! Your Copenhagen Old Town Private Walking Tour is complete. Psst… or is it really?! The story of Copenhagen doesn't end here… what about the fairytales, merchants, palaces and theatres? Ask us about our walking tour of Copenhagen City, picking up where we left off as we travel closer to one of the Danes' favourite spots - the water!
