What your day looks like
This full-day combo tour is hands down the best possible itinerary for a one-day visit. On this day trip we will take you to three main highlights in the Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland NP - to the Bastei Bridge, the Pravcicka Gate stone arch. The total walking distance is about 15 kilometers (or 9 miles) on partially rough terrain. This tour is well suited to guests who are used to outdoor activities and is not a good fit for hiking beginners. The tour feels moderate to guests who are used to walking and hiking. The tour is broken up into several parts throughout the whole day. The longest hiking part takes around 2 hours of steady walking and involves about a 1.5-hour long ascent to reach one of the highlights. At some parts, the pace of the tour can be challenging as it requires fast walking and there are many stairs involved to reach the viewpoints. No special skills are needed though and in the end, the tour is just a long, yet very enjoyable day. Please tell us about some of your hiking or sports experiences as we want to be sure you'll greatly enjoy this tour. As part of the tour takes place in Germany, we ask that all guests bring their passports.

This was a fantastic tour! It was a full day of hiking through the national park with a delicious lunch and cold beer included. Our guide Pavla was very knowledgeable about the history of the country and the creation of this national park. I would recommend it for anyone interested in getting out of the city and spending a day in nature.

Worth every penny and every Km walked! Before I get started, I want to first thank everyone for their A+ Customer service! Northern Hikes made sure that I did not miss the bus, and were so helpful and accommodating...I was more than greatful for their service! I was traveling by train that was almost 2 hour away to make the tour. It's hard to believe that so much beauty exists on this earth. The tour was amazing, and our tour guide, Marek was awesome! He told us so much history during our hike that it makes you appreciate the national park that much more. Have a full battery because you will want to take a million photos! The meal was so good, but make sure you have an appetite as the portions are plentiful, and the beer is delicious and perfect after a long hike :) I would hesitate to do another tour with Northern Hikes if I came came this was from Canada again!!
