The journey, in full
Experience the best of Prague on this private, locally guided tour that blends iconic landmarks with off-the-beaten-path charm. Designed for curious travelers who want more than a standard overview, this half-day walking tour takes you through Prague’s most storied neighborhoods: Old Town, the Jewish Quarter, Lesser Town, and up to the Prague Castle complex. Along the way, you’ll pass several real-life locations featured in Dan Brown’s latest novel, "The Secret of Secrets," set right here in Prague. Stroll the historic Royal Route and navigate the cobbled alleys of Old Town as your guide shares the stories behind Prague’s Gothic spires, Baroque palaces, and Renaissance façades. See must-sees like the Astronomical Clock, Charles Bridge, and St. Vitus Cathedral (from the outside), while discovering hidden courtyards and lesser-known viewpoints along the way. Enjoy a traditional Czech lunch at a centuries-old restaurant (vegetarian options available) and travel like a local on the city’s charming tram system to reach Prague Castle, the world’s largest castle complex. While we focus on the castle grounds and exteriors, your guide can help arrange a separate, in-depth interior tour if desired. Looking for a memorable finale? Opt for a relaxing boat ride along the Vltava River, complete with a drink in hand and a fresh perspective of the city from the water.

What travelers are saying
Can’t say enough about Kuba ! He was so informative, passionate, energetic, entertaining and gave us historical accounts while seeing and experiencing Prague.
Kuba was an amazing guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Prague. He continuously checked on his clients to ensure that we were seeing all of the sites we wanted to see and enjoying the experience. In addition to thoroughly enjoying the tour, we enjoyed lunch. It was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend Kuba!
Our guide George was fantastic! He was filled with information and eager to share. He was flexible with our requests and wanted us to get the most of our time together. He pivoted to the metro when the rain came. The cafe and restaurant he selected were wonderful and authentic to Prague. He gave us recommendations on restaurants and locally crafter souvenirs to bring home. I will certainly recommend the 5-hour Prague city tour and hope George can be their guide!
This was an excellent tour. Our Guide, Mark, is from the US and very knowledgable so our tour was a great conversation, easy to understand and we learned a lot. Mark answered our random questions, as he modified our day to match our interests and pace. I highly recommend.
Tour guide was very enthusiastic and informative . We were only in Pragie for 3 full days and we feel we saw almost everything with Mark!
Our Prague city tour with Mark was fabulous. I would highly recommend it. We took this walking tour on our first day in Prague to get oriented to the city. Mark showed us so many sights and definitely knew the history of the area. He was very engaged with my 2 boys who were also on the tour and they enjoyed his stories and insights. Mark followed up with an email including other recommendations for our stay and we enjoyed one of his restaurant recommendations along with some of the additional recommended places to go in Prague in the days after this tour. We felt like we really got to know the area and the lunch was wonderful too.
Mark was a great guide, but my husband and I are in our 70s and it was too brisk for us. I had to watch those uneven cobblestones so I did not get to see all the great architecture I adore because I was trying to keep up. We did not have any breaks for photos either. I have a mini-fan club for travel online so they expect photos every day. The boat ride add on was really no fun. Lunch was great. Mark picked out a great place and he is definitely an encyclopedia of knowledge about Prague. If you are younger than we are, you would really enjoy it.
Our private guide, George, was very meticulous in his delivery and he tested us with little quizzes to make sure we were paying attention. All in good fun.
