What your day looks like
Begin your tour by visiting the Hvar Arsenal, originally a shipyard and later transformed into the first municipal theater in Europe in 1612. Then, stand on the eastern side of the city square, at the far end of the Pjaca, where two parts of the city meet, and see the breathtaking Cathedral of Saint Stephen. Next, proceed to the Franciscan Monastery, known for its magnificent painting of the Last Supper. Continue to the Benedictine Monastery with its collection of church reliquaries and ecclesiastical fixtures. Before concluding the tour, see the City Lodge and the Hanibal Lučić Summer Residence.
