Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

Leave your Dubrovnik hotel with the air-conditioned, luxury, vehicle and head out of the city to the countryside of Dubrovnik. On the way to the island of Korcula, you will have an opportunity to visit Ston, a small town famous for its old salt flats and the second-longest city walls in the world. Along the way, you will enjoy the panoramic scenery of the famous vineyards of the Peljesac peninsula, beautiful countryside, and old settlements. The old town of Korcula is a medieval fortified town located on the oval peninsula stretching deep into the Peljesac channel. An interesting fact about Korcula's old core is that it is built in the shape of the fishbone to reduce the impact of wind and sun. The whole town is surrounded by high walls. The narrow streets, Pjaceta Square, many churches, Arsenal with the Tower Rampada are just some of the sights that are definitely worth visiting. Of course don't forget to visit the birthplace of Marco Polo, according to the legend Korcula is his birthplace. On your way back to Dubrovnik, you will stop at one of the most famous winemaker family estates. Take this opportunity and listen to local stories of the life and the culture of the region as you enjoy wine tasting.
