The start will be from your accommodation or any other location in Dubrovnik. Ston Walls - The tour will begin with a visit to the city of Ston, a fortification system built in the 14th century to protect the town of Ston. It is the longest preserved fortress system in Europe, and travelers will have the opportunity to walk along its walls (depends about time of the year and heat) learn about its history, and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area. Wine Cellar - Next, the tour will visit one or two local wineries where travelers can taste the unique wines produced in the region. The guide will provide information about the wines and the winemaking process, as well as any historical or cultural significance of the wine for this area. Restaurant Stop - we will stop at a local restaurant in Trstenik, whose owner is a fisherman, where travelers can enjoy a delicious meal made with fresh local ingredients and will provide recommendations on the best dishes to try and can answer any questions about the regional cuisine. Fresh seafood and fish from barbecue. Salt Production - After visiting the Ston Walls, the tour will continue to the salt pans that have been in operation since the Middle Ages. Travelers will have the opportunity to learn about the process of salt production and its significance in history, as well as taste samples some of the high-quality salt produced here.
