Lim Bay Sea Kayaking Tour is an ideal full-day experience on the west coast of Istria. Lim Bay, also known as the Lim Channel or the “Croatian fjord,” forms part of the 35 km long Lim Valley, which stretches almost to the center of the Istrian peninsula. The bay itself is nearly 13 km long and is framed by cliffs covered in lush evergreen vegetation. Since 1964, Lim Bay has been a legally protected geomorphological and hydrogeological site and is recognized as an area of outstanding natural beauty. In 1980, it was declared a special marine reserve. One of its most distinctive features is the mix of seawater and freshwater: underwater springs enrich the bay with oxygen, creating ideal conditions for a rich diversity of marine life. The area is also renowned for its high-quality fish and oyster farms. Your guide will meet you in the Poreč / Vrsar area, from where you’ll take a local transfer of approximately 25 minutes to the starting point at Lim Bay. Upon arrival, your guide will introduce the tour and equipment and provide a detailed safety briefing.
