Experience the majesty of Costa Rica’s most famous waterfall system with the perfect blend of 4x4 adventure and rainforest trekking. Our journey begins with a comfortable 1-hour scenic drive to the property, where we swap the van for a 4x4 tractor. This open-air ride brings guests deep into the canyon, bypassing the hardest part of the trek. From the drop-off point, the group embarks on a moderate 15-25 minute guided hike through the rainforest to reach the falls. While the tractor assists with the steep terrain, this short hike allows guests to spot wildlife and connect with the jungle on the way to the water. Once at the falls, guests can explore two massive tiers: The Upper Fall: A stunning 150-foot wall of water, perfect for photos and soaking in the raw power of the rainforest. The Lower Fall: A 75-foot cascade featuring wide, natural swimming pools. Here, guests can swim, relax, or (for the adventurous) take safe, guide-assisted jumps from the rocks. After soaking up the adventure, we hike back to the tractor for the ride up the canyon to enjoy a hot, authentic Costa Rican lunch at a local favorite restaurant before returning to Manuel Antonio.
