Our bay was built for paddleboarding: it is sheltered from the wind, has near-shore islands within an easy paddle, and a varied bird, fish, and animal life. There is no better place in Costa Rica to flat water and adventure SUP! Bahía Rica has high quality Hobie DuraGlide Stand Up Paddleboards for rent. We have safety equipment and snorkeling and other activity equipment available as well. You have to bring your own sunscreen lotion, sunglasses and clothes suitable for your tour. If you wish to bring along electronic equipment such as camera, phone you can rent dry bags from Bahía Rica Adventures. Our Hobie DuraGlide 10'10" SUP boards are built for flatwater, and have a great shape for touring and paddle faster than any surf shape SUP boards. A fusion of performance, stability and durability, the Dura Glide series is perfect for entry to intermediate paddlers. Stand up paddleboard rentals - Logistics Practical details: – Place of departure and return: The SUP’s are to be launched and returned at the Bahia Rica beach – Rental time: Between 8 am and 6 pm – Capacity: Maximum 4 persons – Age limit: 18 years for SUP rental (children can rent SUPs under supervision of an adult) The paddles included with the rental fee are Hobie's EXP-Stretch 7.5 with adjustable length.
