What your day looks like
Pure Trek Canyoning We will pick you up and whisk you off to our canyon, about a 20-minute drive outside La Fortuna. Then transfer to 4x4 trucks for an exciting short drive to our ranch house to gear up. Then you are off for a morning of exhilarating waterfall rappelling in our spectacular rainforest canyon. We then take you to our beautiful base offices and tropical gardens for a delicious Typical Costa Rican lunch that will give you the energy to continue your day of adventure. Volcano Hike & Hot Springs We will take you to a private park, in 1968 (named after the date of the first eruption ). Hike on beautiful trails with amazing views of Arenal Volcano everywhere. A spectacular lookout point and old lava flows. You will see the volcano and old lava flow up close and clear. Our extremely knowledgeable guide makes this more than just a hike, it is a learning experience too. After your hike, it will be time to unwind and revitalize your body and mind. We will take you to our favorite hot springs in La Fortuna, where you will be able to soak in different thermally heated pools with temperatures ranging from 34-40°C (93-104 °F).To round up your day enjoy a delicious dinner, well deserved after this full day of adventure. There is no experience needed and all activities are family-friendly!

What to Bring
What to Bring for Rappelling: * Quick dry clothing (synthetics work best). * Hiking sandals (shoes that can get wet, dry quick and have good traction when wet). * Change of clothes for after the tour. What to Bring for Volcano Hike and thermals: * Quick dry clothing (synthetics work best) and swimsuit. * Close toe shoes. * Bugs spray and sunscreen. * Hat/cap and sunglasses (optional). * Binoculars (optional). * Poncho (optional, if raining). * Change of clothes.
Restrictions
To ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, the following restrictions apply: Weight Limit: Maximum 280 lb (127 kg). Harness Size Limitations: Participants must fit within 44 inches at the waist and 32 inches at the upper legs to safely use the harnesses. Health & Medical Restrictions: Participation is not permitted for individuals who are: Pregnant Under the influence of alcohol or drugs Recovering from surgery within the past 12 months Suffering from heart conditions or serious back problems Minimum Age Requirement: Children under 5 years old are not permitted on the Pure Trek Canyoning tour.
