What your day looks like

The Sloth Park is located 600 meters from the central park of La Fortuna, this park is about 20 hectares and the trail is approximately 2 km, it will take about 1 ½ hour to 2 hours to fully walk it, while there, you will get the opportunity to find from 4 to 5 sloths, different species of birds, snakes, beetles, spiders and frogs such as the famous Red Eyed Frog, the Blue Jeans Frog and a lot of tropical forest biodiversity.    The sloth searching is the center of attraction at this park, since visitors can get a very good chance to see from 4 to 5 specimens, sometimes very close and sometimes from a little bit further, however, distance is not a problem, the guides are very well equipped with binoculars and telescopes to detail the characteristics of the sloths, in addition, the guides will give a talk about natural history of the park, specially about the sloth habitat and custom’s.
