Land & Sea Adventure: Coastal Paddle & 3-Waterfall Experience
What your day looks like
Your day begins early (approx. 7:15 AM) to catch the calmest ocean waters. We pick you up and head to a secluded bay for a safety briefing and paddle instruction. Even if you've never paddle boarded before, our guides will have you standing and cruising in minutes. We embark on a relaxed 40-minute coastal paddle, just the right amount of time to enjoy the morning ocean breeze and spot marine birds without exhausting yourself. After the paddle, we trade the boards for our adventure van and head south. The vibe shifts from 'Zen Ocean' to 'Jungle Adrenaline.' We visit our favorite local waterfalls to wash off the salt in pristine fresh water. You’ll slide down natural rock chutes, swim in river pools, and enjoy a locally sourced Costa Rican lunch. It is a long, active day, but it delivers the two best experiences Manuel Antonio has to offer in a single package.
The experience, in brief
- Paddle board along a lush coastline and visit three stunning waterfalls, and a natural slide
- Enjoy short walks suitable for all ages, explore caves, and relax at a pristine beach
- Experience the richness of local culture with a farmtotable lunch, snacks, and water included
The journey, in full
Morning: Paddle Boarding Kick off your day by paddleboarding along Manuel Antonio's stunning coastline, where warm Pacific waters and lush landscapes await you. Midday: Waterfall Exploration Journey south to uncover some of our favorite hidden gems, featuring three breathtaking waterfalls where you can leap, swim, and even slide down into crystal-clear pools. Lunch: Farm-to-Table Experience Enjoy a delicious lunch at a family-owned farm-to-table tilapia farm nestled in the heart of the rainforest, savoring fresh, locally sourced dishes. Afternoon: Beach Relaxation After lunch, continue your adventure by exploring each waterfall spot before unwinding at a nearly secluded beach adorned with picturesque caves and swaying palm trees. Conclusion: This tour is perfect for adventurers seeking an escape from the crowds while experiencing the authentic beauty of Costa Rica.

What travelers are saying
This was our favorite tour we took in our week long stay! You start out on the paddle boards. The guides take you to this awesome cove and the water is absolutely gorgeous. It's cool to see the cliff side right there next to you. You are given time to swim around a bit and enjoy the views. Next we were whisked away to our first in a series of awesome waterfalls. Overall, we saw 4. You are given time to swim around, take some pictures and hang out. We never felt rushed; the cadence was set perfectly for a rather busy day. Lunch was delicious! You get to stop at a Tilapia farm and they are prepared fresh! If you don't like fish, they have other options that are just as delicious. The day was capped off by a visit to Dominical, a little surf town, where we had an ice cold beer, or coconut water:), and watched a bit of the sunset. Guides were enthusiastic and knowledgeable. A very memorable experience!
