Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

The fishing can be divided into 2 seasons, the green (May-Nov) and the golden (Dec-April). In general, the inshore fishing is better during the green season. Water-color is back to green and more and bigger bait are around. The golden season can be good, especially for fly fishing. It is generally in the golden season that we catch the biggest roosterfish. There are lots more of them around in the green season along with big snappers and hoards of jacks. Any day can be a great day, and as we know, any day fishing is better than a day at the office. An inshore fishing full-day is fun and dynamic. We listen to your wishes and if you want to cast all day we will do that. We also troll live or dead bait, cast poppers and stick baits, jig, and bottom fish in search of the big one. You have 2 different fishing boats to choose from. Your captain is Thomas Jones who is also the owner of Bahia Rica. He is a marine biologist by profession and a member of Pro Staff Costa Rica. He has more hours logged in the area than anyone else and will do whatever is necessary to put you on the fish.
