Get close to the rainforest by walking through hanging bridges, amuse yourself at La Fortuna waterfall's base, take a peek at Arenal Volcano's past and present and enjoy its gifts at the hot springs. Around 7:30 a.m. tour starts at hotels and you head to the Hanging Bridges. Over 2.5 km of trails through rainforest, 15 bridges from 5 to 100 m long and some over 70 m high. This trail is full of flora & fauna and amazing views of the Arenal Volcano. (Closed tennis or hiking shoes are mandatory, the park will not allow entry to the trails to those passengers who use sandals or shoes that do not fully cover their feet.) La Fortuna Waterfall Back to La Fortuna the tour takes ahead for the waterfall by car; a view of the 70 m high waterfall and a 600 m hike to the natural pool at the base. (Bring swim clothes, towel and special water shoes as the river bottom is rocky). Later on, drive to an organic production farm near La Fortuna for lunch. Arenal 1968 Park At 3:00 p.m. tour continues to the Arenal National Park, here the tour guide will talk about the natural and geological history of the volcano, cross a path of solid lava and enjoy an excellent view over the volcano and Lake Arenal. Baldí Hot Springs Leaving the park the bus will take the tourist in a 20 min ride to the Hot Springs, here they can enjoy the relaxing baths and waterfalls. At the end of the day, before driving everybody back to the hotel, a delicious buffet dinner. Departure 7:30 a.m. aprox. Duration: 7:30 a.m to 9:00 p.m. aprox. Includes: Transportation, naturalist guide, all entrance fees, bottle water, lunch and dinner.
