The Experience
What your day looks like
This is, hands down, our most popular tour! We begin the day with a relaxing cruise around Bahía Culebra, keeping an eye out for turtles, dolphins, rays, and even whales during the right season. We’ll also head up the Palmares Estuary for a chance to spot crocodiles and the many beautiful birds that call the mangroves home. While we explore, we’ll drop a few fishing lines and see if we can catch something fresh to add to our beachside BBQ later on! Next we’ll spend some time under the water, enjoying a bit of snorkeling in one of the many spots known for a variety of marine life. Finally we’ll make our way to one of the Papagayo Peninsula’s calm water beaches where you can snorkel, paddleboard, swim, or just relax on the beach while our crew prepares a delicious BBQ lunch. Kids love exploring the nearby caves or splashing in the shallows, while parents can enjoy a peaceful moment under the sun. This half-day tour is all about fun, relaxation, and quality time on the water—an easygoing day that lets everyone enjoy the very best of Papagayo.

Make sure to bring the following: sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat for best sun protection and beach towels.
Meeting & Pickup
We will pick you up by boat directly from the beach closest to where you are staying. We pick up by boat directly from the beach of all Papagayo Gulf hotels and directly from the beaches of El Coco, Hermosa, Ocotal, and Matapalo.
