Eco-Chontales Waterfall & Blue Clay Tour with Lunch
What your day looks like
Escape the ordinary and journey south into the lush mountains of Perez Zeledon. The adventure begins with a scenic drive through landscapes often compared to 'Jurassic Park' due to their raw, prehistoric beauty. Upon arrival at the private reserve, a short downhill hike takes you down to the river base. Here, the massive 150ft Eco Chontales waterfall dominates the view. The day is yours to explore: swim in the turquoise pools, challenge yourself with a cliff jump, or simply relax and take in the sights. The highlight for many is the Blue Clay. We bring fresh, mineral-rich clay from the Savegre River mountains for you to apply as a full-body mask. After drying in the sun and rinsing off in the fresh mountain water, we sit down for a traditional Costa Rican lunch at the open-air riverside restaurant, accompanied by the sounds of the jungle.
The experience, in brief
- Witness a towering 150ft waterfall on a private, crowdfree reserve
- Enjoy a natural blue clay body mask in a mineralrich riverside spa
- Slide down rock formations with optional cliff jumps for extra thrill
- Savor an authentic Costa Rican casado lunch amid stunning mountain views
