What travelers are saying
Wonderful tour, beautiful park. Picnic lunch was delicious. We saw many animals and learned a great deal about the animals, trees and surroundings. The boat ride was comfortable and the staff was very friendly and informative.
Great days adventure starting with the speedboat ride from the beach to Corcovado and back sadly the marine life were scarce, but when we arrived at the national park all was well taken care of by our very professional guide, , howler monkeys a sloth, spiders and so on , but I nature every day you will see different creatures as it’s wild and not a zoo. Lunch was good and if coming back to Costa Rica again I would definitely return on this tour
We left at 7:30 am from Uvita and returned by 2:30 with the option of enjoying the beach there. The boat trip was an hour and a half each way (very enjoyable, although no whales or dolphins sighted). Between 9 and 1 we were doing a nature walk near San Pedrillo ranger station and sighted a tapir and a few macaws, plus some monkeys far away and a curacao bird through the telescope of the guide. The lunch was delicious. the second nature walk was very short (maybe 30 minutes) just to see the tapir up close. Our guide Ramon was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learnt a lot about trees and plants. It is a nice tour but I find it overpriced and the Corcovado park overregulated (they check your bag, you are not allowed to step on the rocks on the beach), which takes away from the experience.
Absolutely amazing! Edward was our guide and he was friendly and knowledgeable. Saw a tapir and many beautiful birds. The boat ride was nice and even saw dolphins racing by us
Absolutely amazing day! Edwars
This tour was amazing! We were greeted in the morning with coffee and pastries and led to a parking lot near the beach (parking was about 3k colones iirc). The boat ride was smooth, the side got splashed a little bit but our backpacks stayed dry in a compartment on the boat. Sit in the back if you want a smoother ride. Our guide, Ramon, was knowledgeable about everything we saw. His passion for the forest and all its inhabitants was infectious and kept us captivated the entire time. He made sure everyone in our group saw everything he saw. He was definitely one of the best tour guides we had the entire trip. There was a chance for a swim so be sure to bring your swim suit and a towel. Also, be sure to bring tennis shoes or boots, one couple on our tour was almost not allowed in because they brought water shoes only. The lunch was delicious, they even had a vegetarian option. Probably one of the best lunches on a tour that we had. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone, I would have done a two day trip if I had time!
We had an absolutely amazing time on our tour with Bahía Adventures. The shop was communicative prior to the tour, and Our guides were prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. You could tell they really wanted to make the experience for us as great as possible. We saw so many amazing animals on our trip in early November, including whales, wild pigs, and even a puma!!! The trip was awesome, lunch included was good, and we were back a little before our expected arrival time. Truly a 10/10 experience. Thank you Ramon!!!
