The Experience

What your day looks like

Experience a unique adventure in the Children’s Eternal Rainforest (BEN), the largest private reserve in Costa Rica. This natural sanctuary was acquired and protected thanks to an inspiring fundraising campaign led by children from around the world, becoming a symbol of conservation and hope for future generations. The tour begins with a panoramic transfer through spectacular mountain scenery, leading to the Pocosol Biological Station. There, an approximately three-hour hike takes visitors along trails surrounded by lush tropical forest, where it is possible to admire a volcanic crater, Pocosol Lagoon, an impressive waterfall over 50 meters high, and boiling volcanic mud fumaroles. Throughout the hike, this pristine environment offers unmatched opportunities for birdwatching and the chance to spot a great variety of tropical flora and wildlife, rarely found together in one place. At the end of the hike, a typical lunch is served at the station’s restaurant, surrounded by the serenity and beauty of one of the country’s most important conservation areas.
