What your day looks like
This tour will simply thrill you. Your day will begin with a short boat ride from the Arenal Lake dam to the entrance of the Arenal Volcano National Park to the "La Península" trail. This trail will take us deep into the rainforest and you will be accompanied by your expert naturalist guide. You will walk with impressive views of Lake Arenal and enjoy fantastic viewpoints on different occasions. This trail is special for bird watching and nature photography. We will then head to areas that were once destroyed by volcanic activity and are now in the process of regeneration. The walk along the "Sendero Coladas" will take us to experience what not long ago were steaming lava flows. Learn about La Fortuna's impressive biodiversity, geology, and the tales and stories that resonate in the area since the volcano eruption from your expert guide. It is said that the Arenal Volcano before the active period began in 1968 was covered by a splendid canopy of vegetation. People used to climb to the top to sleep inside the crater surrounded by big dreams and enjoying the warmth of the small steam holes in the ground.
