What your day looks like
Explore every level of the dense Costa Rican rainforest from the ground to the treetops. The awarded Aerial Tram Tour lets you know firsthand all the secrets the forest keeps while you fly above the treetops to a magnificent view, relaxation time, and peaceful experience. The 1.25-hour gondola ride includes a self-guided natural walk on the pavement trails and a visit to the beautiful butterfly garden and hummingbird garden where you´ll be able to learn a lot about their colorful wings. You will also visit the orchids garden and the terrarium where you´ll see many interesting amphibians and reptile species. *Optional Package with Transportation and lunch at the National Park's restaurant (if the option is selected at the time of booking). - Sample Lunch Menu: Saffron rice, beans, grilled chicken in tomato sauce, green salad, steamed vegetables, tropical fruits, sweet plantains, juice, coffee or tea.

This excursion is geared more towards adults, and probably wouldn't recommend for younger crowds, as the tram ride is very slow paced. Please note if you book roundtrip transportation, it is a group tour with everyone doing different activities, so the entire group has to wait for everyone to finish their excursions to return to the hotel. Lots of down time with nothing to do but sit and wait. It's a full day experience - the three hours outlined as the duration is only for the tram ride.
