What your day looks like
Your day will be very diverse. Along the drive to Miravalles Volcano, you will visit one of the country’s most beautiful waterfalls and if you’d like to, you can bring your swimsuits and swim under the majestic water curtain. Miravalles Volcano! An untamed mountain covered in rainforest and letting us safely visit the only walkable crater in Costa Rica. Our next stop will be the crater at Miravalles Volcano where we will see lots of geothermal activity and sense the mighty power from below us. This is a day of waterfalls and volcano and is already one of our favorites.

This was a great tour! We got to see some animals and butterflies along our walk. The mud bath and natural spas were great! Walking on the crater of the volcano was a once in a lifetime experience! The lunch was delicious as well!

We had an amazing time on this excursion. Ours guides Ander and Reinier were wonderful. They answered all of our questions and explained all of the sites so we could appreciate the landmarks. The hiking on the hanging baskets was fun and being able to see the waterfalls from different angles was beautiful. The mud bath and thermal pools were like a pampering spa day. The little restaurant we stopped at for lunch was delicious and included local favorites. We paid the extra $7 pp to go to the Llanos del Cortez waterfall. It was so beautiful and refreshing. Worth the extra time and money. We highly recommend this tour when you are in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica.
