Enjoy this interesting tour of Zipaquirá visiting the Salt Cathedral and discovering the main squares of the colonial city. To start this tour we pick you up at 8 a.m. or 2 p.m., we pick you up at your hotel or place of preference and from there we take you to Zipaquirá and its famous Cathedral; Depending on traffic, the trip to Zipaquirá lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. During this journey you will have the opportunity to observe different places such as the north highway in the city of Bogotá, you will go through the Marroquín Castle and the town of Chía. We will accompany you to the entrance of the salt mine where the visit to the Cathedral begins. The tour is done through an audio guide that has 7 different languages to choose from Spanish, English, Italian, German, French, Portuguese, and Mandarin. The tour inside the Salt Cathedral lasts around two hours and you will have the opportunity to visit: NUCUMA Short Film: Short film that lasts approx. 15 min, in which you can see a summary of the geological formation of the salt deposit, exploitation levels, and the entire structure of the mine. Light Show: It is the largest screen of led bulbs in the world underground, where you will hear and see the mythological history of our indigenous Muiscas. Water Mirror: Generates an optical illusion for the salt crystals found in the water. Huellas de Sal Walk: A tour of the historic center is carried out, with a guide and the most emblematic places of Zipaquirá are visualized, within this tour you visit the Quevedo Zornoza Museum, where you will have knowledge about the cultural development of Zipaquirá, ancestral information ( indigenous people who lived), history of Zipaquirá, the generations who lived there, and lastly the life of Guillermo Quevedo Sornoza who was a teacher and influenced the life of Gabriel García Márquez when he studied at the Salle de Zipaquirá. Once we had left Zipaquirá and arrived at the restaurant around 3:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. After a little sightseeing, it is time to enjoy a good meal and dance to the music in the famous Andrés Carne de Res Restaurant in Chía which was founded in June 1982, over the years it became an Atypical restaurant for its decoration the hanging objects, the picturesque illustrations, and the myths and stories that have emerged around it. It is inspired by Dante's Divine Comedy, its floors are themed in hell, earth, purgatory, and heaven. On each floor you will have a different experience so, you will have to go to live it. Here you will find renowned chefs who serve delicious typical Colombian dishes such as patacones with shredded meat, arepas in their different presentations, soups, ceviche, salads, and desserts. Really a very varied letter. And last but not least, The World 50 Best Latin America has topped the list. They have a really extensive menu with countless dishes, desserts, and drinks. On the menu, there are approximately 315 dishes that you can enjoy, without counting drinks and desserts. After a delicious meal, you can dance to the music of Colombian music with its different rhythms. Every night, the Andrés Carne de Res nightclub hosts various shows, with shows and live demonstrations of Latin dances such as salsa, merengue, or bachata. Returning to Bogotá, we will drop you off at your hotel or place of accommodation.

Bogota: The founding of Bogotá has two moments, one de facto and the other legal. The de facto foundation occurred on August 6, 1538, when Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada established a military barracks or camp called Our Lady of Hope, in what is now the Chorro de Quevedo. Zipaquirá: The original name of the indigenous people was Chicaquicha, which means "Foot of the Zipa." The indigenous population settled at the point known today as "Puebloviejo."
