The 28 brine mirrors, in which the salt rocks were dissolved, produce an impressive optical effect. In the chamber of the Chapel, there is a huge 1,300 kilogram stone sphere that symbolizes the world. Another attraction of great importance is the 1,600-kilogram salt crystal, carved in the shape of a heart in the '60s by the miner Miguel Sánchez. Stalactites and stalagmites are seen along the way and there is even an ecological trail, an auditorium, and a geology room. After leaving the Nemocón Salt Mine we will leave for Zipaquirá, you will enjoy a typical Colombian lunch in one of the best restaurants in Zipaquirá, you can make your choice between different dishes traditionally cooked by fire, you can choose a dish with delicious meat prepared at the llanera or a vegetarian dish. 180 meters underground is a place away from everyday life, which invites reflection, self-discovery, and internal encounters.
