We will pick you up from your hotel or place of preference at 8:00 am, the trip to the Hacienda in Fusagasugá lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, on the way to reach the Hacienda del Café Coloma you will cross the entire city to the South part, you will be able to see a large part of the city and our live bilingual logistics support will tell you about the organization of our city. Upon arrival at the hacienda, you will get to know the fascinating process of cultivation and production of Colombian coffee up close, you can do it only 90 minutes from Bogotá. At Hacienda Coloma you will find much more than a beautiful landscape: experience the entire coffee production process, from its seed to the essence of each sip. When visiting Hacienda Coloma you will travel to a pleasant and historical place where you will learn how to obtain a cup of coffee, from a bean. The tour begins in the coffee seedbed, where the chapola is planted and cultivated. Next up, you will cross a flowery coffee plantation of Arabica coffee grown in the shade, where you can see many of the varieties available in Colombia. From there it is transferred to the Beneficiadero, one of the most important and traditional places in the Colombian coffee process, where each coffee bean is washed, pulped, dried, and handpicked. The journey continues in the threshing machine and from there it goes to a last critical step in its quality: roasting coffee, a slow and artisan process that gives coffee its characteristic color and prints the final quality of the aroma and flavor of coffee, which already made drink you can taste at the end of the tour.   Experience every step of growing and producing coffee.
