The Experience

What your day looks like

Experience the vibrant essence of Bogotá with our meticulously curated layover tour, perfect for those with just a few hours to explore the Andean capital. Upon your arrival at El Dorado International Airport, we'll transport you to the iconic Monserrate Sanctuary. Situated at a towering 3,152 meters above sea level in the eastern hills, Monserrate offers unparalleled panoramic views of Bogotá. Ascend to the summit via the cable car and take in the breathtaking scenery while learning about the sanctuary's historical and cultural significance. Our next destination is the heart of Bogotá's historic district, La Candelaria. Stroll through its charming cobblestone streets, starting with a visit to the Botero Museum. Here, you'll encounter the captivating art of Fernando Botero, one of Colombia's most renowned artists, whose distinctive style has left an indelible mark on the art world. Then, we'll head to Chorro de Quevedo, a lively square that showcases the eclectic and vibrant spirit of the old city, offering a deeper understanding of Bogotá's rich cultural tapestry. Continuing our journey, we'll arrive at Plaza de Bolívar, the main square that serves as the epicenter of Bogotá's political and historical landscape. Surrounded by notable buildings, including the National Capitol, the Primary Cathedral, and the Palace of Justice, Plaza de Bolívar is a testament to the city's rich history. Your knowledgeable guide will provide fascinating insights into the pivotal events that have shaped Colombia's past. As our tour concludes, we’ll ensure you return to the airport with ample time to catch your next flight, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Bogotá’s highlights.
