What your day looks like
Cali is the city of birds, where more than 500 species live, including residents and migratory birds. Colombia is the country that is home to the greatest diversity of birds in the world, and in Cali you will find more than 30% of the birds in Colombia. Cali is the closest city to the Colombian Pacific, thanks to the magnificent geographical position, with our particular climate and unique topography, we receive about 170 migratory species throughout the year. With its colorful feathers and beautiful melodies, this Bird Watching activity restores the human being's connection with nature through trails full of thick vegetation and exuberant fauna.

Detailed Itinerary
The journey, in full
We will begin by embarking our journey towards the top of one of the mountains towards the west mountain range to visit the beautiful natural reserve were the activity will take place. This trip by car usually takes less than one hour. Once we arrive at the natural reserve we will first be delighted with a homemade gourmet breakfast that will provided us the much needed energy for the rest of the activity. After breakfast we will head to the natural reserve were you will be surprised by the thick and abundant nature. Here you will have the opportunity to get beautiful views of the large and diverse group of birds in their natural habitat while enjoying their song. Once we finish, we will head back to the city at around mid-day.

- Wear sneakers or shoes that are comfortable for walking. - Wear clothing of neutral colors or dark tones. - High quality binoculars, preferably the 15X25 types that offer excellent visibility even in low light.
