This tour is tailored for those who stay in Shanghai permanently or temporarily but long to make a visit to ancient Xian. With nothing to worry about, everything will be perfectly arranged for you. In the early morning (usually around 4:00 am), our driver will greet you at your Shanghai hotel lobby holding a sign with your name, and transfer you to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport to take a flight to Xian. The exact pickup time will be advised one day ahead of the travel date. Upon your arrival in Xian, a local guide will be waiting for you also holding a sign with your name. Then head to the famous Terracotta Warriors & Horses Museum. Known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World”, it includes Pit 1( the largest), Pit 2, and Pit 3, the exhibition hall of the bronze chariots and horses as well. It is famous for a surprisingly high level of sculpture. After lunch (at your own expense), we will wander in Muslim Street. It is a bustling neighborhood with narrow alleys filled with local shops and street food vendors. Here, you can taste snacks from all over Shaanxi and famous local cuisine in Xi’an. Finally, you will be sent to the airport for a flight back to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport. Our Shanghai driver will wait for you when you land and then transfer you back to your hotel.
