Longji Terrace Field has a history of over 650 years. It is the crystal of wisdom of local people in ancient time. It’s also a masterpiece of local farmers in history. In the morning meet the guide and driver in your Guilin downtown hotel between 08:30-09:00 am, then we will head to the famous Longji Terrace Field. The driving usually takes about 2 hours so we will get to the terrace field at around 11:00. The Longsheng Terraced Rice Fields were first built and cultivated in Yuan Dynasty by Zhuang and Yao minority people, and now the area is still being used by the Zhuang and Yao villagers. The rice terraces are built on the mountain slope and wind its way around the hillsides. The Longji terraced fields is a highlight in one's Guilin tour and one of the 12 top class scenic spots in Guangxi Province. You will also pay a visit to the local Zhuang village to learn the local culture and folk customs here. After the tour, you'll be transferred back to your Guilin downtown hotel at about 5:00 pm.
