What your day looks like

You can choose to do the tour in the morning at 9am or in the afternoon at 1pm. Your driver and English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel in the Beijing downtown area (within 4th Ring Road). Then you will be escorted to visit Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City. Tiananmen Square is the heart and symbol of Beijing and is the largest city square in the world. The spacious square has been used for many public celebrations, ceremonies, and demonstrations for over a hundred years. The Founding Ceremony of PRC was also held here on Oct 1st, 1949. The National Flag raising in the early morning and lowering in the late afternoon is the most solemn daily ceremony on the square. Forbidden City is one of the largest and most completely preserved palace complexes in the world. It functioned as the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). There were 24 emperors of the two dynasties who once lived here. When the visit ends, you will be escorted back to the hotel.
