Your tour begins with your guide and driver picking you up from the lobby of your downtown Beijing hotel. Board the air-conditioned vehicle to start your journey.​ First, head to Temple of Heaven, an imperial sacrificial site built during the Ming Yongle reign. Admire the architectural philosophy of "heaven is round, earth is square", encounter local residents doing morning exercises, and experience authentic Beijing vibes.​ Next, visit Tian'anmen Square, the world’s largest public square. Gaze at the Tian'anmen Rostrum, pay respect to iconic landmarks, and feel the solemn grandeur of the capital (photo stops available upon request).​ Pass through the south gate of the square to enter the Forbidden City (Palace Museum). Explore the 500-year-old imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties, admire the exquisite craftsmanship of red walls and yellow tiles, and listen to legendary stories of emperors and generals.​ After the tour, savor lunch at an authentic Beijing-style restaurant (meal at your own expense) to experience local culinary culture.​ In the afternoon, travel to the Summer Palace. Stroll along the 728-meter Long Corridor adorned with colorful paintings, visit landmarks like the Marble Boat and Hall of Happiness and Longevity, and enjoy the stunning lake views and classical garden scenery.​ At the end of the tour, your guide and driver will send you back to your downtown Beijing hotel, concluding your wonderful one-day cultural journey.
