Detailed Itinerary
The journey, in full
Guided Tour After pickup from your hotel, journey north by private, air-conditioned vehicle with your guide to Jinshanling. On route, hear all about this section of the Great Wall, one of the most beautiful, least-visited, and challenging parts of the UNESCO-listed structure. After about 2-2.5 hours' drive, arrive and ascend to the ramparts by cable car. Your guide will recommend different walking routes and vantage points along the way. Then, enjoy 2-4 hours hiking along the battlements, depending on your selected route. As you walk, admire the mountain views and inspect the watchtowers, arrow holes, and other fortifications. Transfer Your friendly private driver picks you up in the hotel lobby, and drives about 2-25 hours to the Great Wall at Jinshanling in a comfort vehicle. Upon arrival your driver will assist you in entrance tickets purchase (at your own cost). Then, you will explore the Wall and enjoy the amazing view. After this wonderful self-guided tour is finished, you will be transferred back hotel.
