Meet your driver in the lobby of your hotel in Chengdu and embark on a relaxing 2-hour journey to the magnificent Leshan Giant Buddha. You will travel in a private vehicle, either a 5-seat sedan for 1-3 passengers, a 7-seat minivan for 4-5 passengers, or a bus for groups of 6 or more. As you make your way to the destination, take in the picturesque country views along the route. Upon arrival, your driver will guide you to purchase your tickets and will be waiting for you in the parking lot. After you have completed your self-guided tour, your driver will safely transport you back to your hotel in Chengdu. The Leshan Giant Buddha, also known as the Lingyun Giant Buddha, is the largest stone Buddha in the world, towering at 71 meters in height. The intricate details of the Buddha are truly remarkable - his ear is 7 meters in size and made of wood, his head is 14.7 meters tall and 10 meters wide, and there are 1,021 buns in his coiled hair. The Buddha's nose and eyebrows measure 5.6 meters, while his mouth and eyes are 3.3 meters wide. His neck is 3 meters long, his shoulders span 24 meters, and his fingers are 8.3 meters in length. Interestingly, 100 people can comfortably sit on his feet. Legend has it that the Buddha's facial expressions depict various emotions related to historical events.
