If you have a layover in Beijing and a few hours to spare, consider booking a private transfer from Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX) to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. This is a fantastic way to maximize your time and experience one of China's most iconic landmarks. Your driver will be waiting for you at the arrival hall of the airport, so be sure to provide your flight details when making your booking. Once you meet your driver, you will be taken directly to the Great Wall at Mutianyu (2.5 Hours). Upon arrival, your driver will assist you in purchasing tickets (at your own cost) and inform you of where to meet after you explore the Great Wall. After your self-guided tour, you will meet your driver at the parking lot and be transferred back to the airport with plenty of time to catch your next flight. Please keep in mind that this is solely a private transfer service, so entrance fees, meals, and a tour guide are not included. Additionally, your driver may not speak English, but you can use their mobile phone to contact the local operator if you have any questions during the journey. Mutianyu Great Wal: most popular section among foreign tourists It is 75km away from Beijing downtown and offers a great landscape of well-preserved walls and towers as well as beautiful surrounding greenery.
