Beijing Group Day Tour: Forbidden City & Badaling Great Wall

What your day looks like

The group tour takes you to visit 3 highlight sites in Beijing: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Badaling Great Wall. You'll witness the largest wooden structure complex in the world and enjoy the most scenic section of the Chinese Great Wall. Around 7-8 am, our guide and driver will greet you holding a board with your name at your hotel in Beijing downtown area. First, we will go to and take a walk on Tiananmen Square, the heart and symbol of Beijing and is the largest city square in the world. The spacious square has been used for many public celebrations, ceremonies, and demonstrations for over a hundred years. Then you will stroll in the Forbidden City, one of the largest and most completely preserved palace complex built with wood. It functioned as the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). There were 24 emperors of the two dynasties once lived here. After lunch, we will drive about 1 hour to visit the Badaling Great Wall, the most popular and accessible section of all the 5 sections in Beijing. Cable car is available and optional if you want to save time and get to the peak to have a bird eye’s view of the Great Wall (cost on your own). Today you will also visit the Jade Carving Factory to learn about Chinese jade culture with unbeatable shopping experience here. After visiting, you will be sent back to your Beijing downtown hotel.
