The Experience
What your day looks like
At 07:00-8:00 am, our guide and driver will greet you at your hotel in the downtown area of Beijing. First, we will drive to the most famous and the best-preserved section of the Chinese Ming Dynasty Great Wall: Badaling Great Wall. The mountain slope is very steep, which makes it an important military stronghold in ancient times. The wall is like a strong dragon winding its way along the mountain ranges. If hiking is too much for you, cable car is available and optional (at your own expense). After that, have lunch (included). In the afternoon, transfer you to visit the Ming Tomb, the underground palace of Dingling (one of the 13 Ming Dynasty Imperial Mausoleums). Dingling is the tomb of Emperor Shenzong, Zhuyijun, who reigned the nation for 48 years as the longest-serving monarch among all Ming emperors. Today you will also stop by the Jade Factory to learn about Chinese jade culture and appreciate some exquisite jade artworks. After visiting, you will be escorted back to your Beijing downtown hotel.
