The Experience

What your day looks like

Expertise matters. With 30 years of local heritage, we prioritize your culture experience and skip the surface-level group tours. Our all-inclusive pricing offers total peace of mind, saving you the hassle of comparison. Day 1: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City/Palace Museum, Mutianyu Great Wall In the morning, your guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby, and then accompany you to board our capacious vehicle to Tiananmen Square. Take a morning walk around the square and take photos of the brilliant landmark buildings like the Monument to the People’s Heroes and the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall. To quickly pass through the security check, we suggest you bring only your passport and drinking water. Next, let’s enter the 600-year-old Forbidden City, the world’s largest and most intact imperial palace complex. Explore the most essential palaces on its central axis and chambers on the two wings among its 9,999 rooms. Relax on a 1.5-hour drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall. After a hearty buffet lunch, follow your guide to realize your dream of ascending the Great Wall at its best-preserved and less-crowded section. Take your time to enjoy the hiking fun and breathtaking scenery for 2.5 hours. The round-way cable car rides or a chairlift up and toboggan down are included, and you can make your own choice. Notice for Toboggan: Children under 10 need to be escorted by an adult; travelers aged 60 and above, or those with hypertension or heart disease, are not permitted to take it. After descending from the Great Wall, your guide and driver will escort you back to your hotel in downtown Beijing. Day 2: Temple of Heaven, Hutong Alleys, Lama Temple & Summer Palace In the morning, your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel and escort you to the Temple of Heaven, where the ancient emperors worshiped the God of Heaven for good harvests. Later, let’s dive deep into the Beijing Hutong area, where a special rickshaw ride is prepared for you to navigate through the old alleys and glimpse into real local life in the traditional courtyards. Next, move to the Lama Temple, the largest and best-preserved lamasery in Beijing. Afterward, let’s stroll around the Summer Palace, reputed as the museum of ancient royal gardens. Finally, your guide and driver will escort you back to your hotel.
