What your day looks like
Join us for a 3-hour Sunset Horseback Tour through Santiago’s rugged Cordillera. You will be welcomed at the ranch by the Arrieros (local cowboys) and their dogs before we take off. Take in the stunning view as the sun sets over Santiago as we descend the mountains on horseback. We will cross rivers, scale mountains, have a short break on a hilltop with a view. Once back at the ranch, you’ll enjoy a small snack in the gorgeous surroundings and then later have a picnic. We use the small but sturdy criollo horses who make anybody feel at ease. No previous experience is required. You will be picked up at 16.00 and returned by 22.00 to your hotel. Drive time is about 35 minutes. Booking a horseback riding tour with Chile Off Track generates a positive social impact as we contract the horses with local providers, with whom we have an established business relationship for years. Our tours contribute significantly to help them to make their living!

In just 20 minutes we were completely removed from the big city and surrounded by beautiful, natural surroundings. Barbara was an AMAZING guide and really made us comfortable the entire time. Dinner was wonderful and the view and company were spectacular. I would highly recommend Barbara (she's so knowledgeable about riding) to anyone who wants some time out of the city. The horse's having really impressive climbing ability. They maybe the best mountain horse breed in the world!
