Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

Your host will guide you through a mix of iconic and lesser-known spots, adapting the route to your interests. Here's an example of what your day might include: Begin at Santiago's historic heart, where the Metropolitan Cathedral faces a lively square. You might step inside to see baroque interiors or stay outside, people-watch, and soak in the city's rhythm with your host. Walk along this pedestrian street alive with vivid murals and public art. Your host can guide you through its colorful displays or lead you into a quieter nearby passage. View this colonial building that houses the Museo de Santiago. You may admire its architecture from outside or step into the shady inner courtyard. Entry to the museum is not included, but your host can guide you around the exterior or into the courtyard if preferred. Climb or meander up this iconic hill, once a volcano, now filled with leafy terraces, fountains, and scenic viewpoints. Your host will adjust the pace to suit your comfort. Explore this artsy neighborhood filled with independent shops, open-air cinemas, and shaded plazas. You might follow the sound of music into a side street or pause to browse local crafts. See Pablo Neruda's whimsical Bellavista home from the outside, or choose to enter (ticket not included). Your host can share stories of the poet's life or guide you through the garden. If time allows, you may ride the funicular (fare not included) or walk to a viewpoint for sweeping views of the city skyline.

Had an amazing tour last week with Isabel—truly one of the best experiences I’ve had. She reached out in advance to understand exactly what I was looking for and came fully prepared, tailoring the entire experience to my interests. What really made the tour stand out was her depth of knowledge. She shared so many tips and fascinating facts that you wouldn’t find in a typical guidebook, making everything feel unique and personal. She also went the extra mile with a wonderful surprise: we had the opportunity to go up the clock tower, enjoy an incredible view of Plaza de Armas, and learn about the history behind the clock—such a special and memorable moment. The tour was a perfect mix of history and experiences—we visited museums, rode the Teleférico, and ended the day tasting one of Chile’s most iconic drinks, Mote con huesillo! Highly recommend Isabel if you’re looking for a thoughtful, personalized, and truly memorable tour.
