Detailed Itinerary
The journey, in full
After your hotel pickup in Santiago, you begin a panoramic journey along the city’s main avenues, discovering its history and key landmarks. Your first stop is the Mercado Central de Santiago, where you admire its iconic iron architecture and learn about its cultural significance. You then continue to Plaza de Armas, the historic heart of the city, where you see the impressive Metropolitan Cathedral of Santiago and learn about its colonial heritage (entry may depend on availability). Next, you walk toward Palacio de La Moneda and Plaza de la Constitución, where you discover Chile’s political history. Depending on the day, you may witness the Changing of the Guard ceremony. You then visit Cerro Santa Lucía, enjoying a short walk and panoramic views over the city. The tour continues with panoramic views of Barrio Lastarria and Barrio Bellavista, two vibrant neighborhoods known for their culture, cuisine, and artistic atmosphere. Next, you head to Parque Bicentenario, where you have time to relax and walk through this beautiful green space. Optionally, you may visit Bluestone to discover Chile’s national stone and browse local crafts. At the end of the experience, you are dropped off at your hotel, the entrance to Cerro San Cristóbal, or Patio Bellavista.
