Let us take you through history on our Santiago City Highlights Tour from the old Spanish colonial city of Pedro de Valdivia to the now modern buzzing hub in Latin America. Come and see all the highlights of Santiago with us on a 3 to 4-hour walking tour! On the tour, you will see it all! Stroll through the mazes of fish and shellfish at Mercado Central -an art-nouveau-London-train-station-style-like construction, and experience the fast pace environment, the smells, the colors, and let yourself take it all in. We will also visit the neo-classical Moneda Palace (seat of the government), the Plaza de Armas (main square), and Santa Lucia Hill, where Santiago was founded in 1541 by Pedro de Valdivia. If you want to dive into Chilean food, you can add our Local Flavours option -an easy add-on that includes three complimentary culinary food stops woven into the tour. We’ll kick things off at a cozy, an authentic Mapuche café, grab lunch at one of our favorite casual spots (you’ll choose between Completos, Empanadas, or a classic Sanguche), and wrap up things up with a local craft beer tasting -because we’re not only good at making wine! Even in our standard tour, no visit to Santiago is complete without tasting some of its local flavours. At the end of the walking tour, we’ll recommend a few favourite spots where you can enjoy a proper Chilean lunch (not included). From there, you’ll have the option to explore the Bellavista neighbourhood, known for its artsy and access to San Cristobal Hill via funicular or cable car -or we’ll help you back to your hotel. You will be picked up at 10.00 and returned by 15.00 max to your hotel.
