Begin in San José de Maipo, the gateway to Cajón del Maipo, where you’ll visit the main square and the historic San José Church, a National Monument. Continue to Adicción del Maipo, a local café known for handcrafted chocolates and herbal infusions, where you’ll learn about traditional chocolate-making. Travel higher into the mountains to the breathtaking El Yeso Reservoir (2,500 m above sea level), where turquoise waters and dramatic peaks create a stunning natural setting. Enjoy a gentle walk, time for photos, and an outdoor brunch with panoramic views. The day concludes at Santuario del Río Lodge & Spa, where you’ll be welcomed with a Pisco Sour, followed by a Chilean lunch with wine or a soft drink, and time to relax in pools, hot tubs, and spa facilities surrounded by nature.
