What your day looks like
Depart before dawn from San Pedro de Atacama and journey deep into the Andes to visit the famous El Tatio Geyser Field. Located at more than 4,300 meters above sea level, this remarkable geothermal area offers one of the most impressive sunrise experiences in northern Chile. Explore steaming geysers, bubbling geothermal features, and stunning mountain scenery while learning about the volcanic forces that shape the region. Enjoy a light breakfast surrounded by spectacular landscapes before continuing to important wildlife and cultural sites on the return journey. The tour also includes visits to the Machuca Wetlands, the traditional village of Machuca, and the Putana Wetlands before returning to San Pedro de Atacama around midday.

Restrictions
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Not suitable for pets. Not recommended for children under 10 years old in thermal pool areas. Guests with severe altitude sensitivity should consult a medical professional before participating. High-altitude environment exceeding 4,300 meters (14,000 feet). Moderate walking on uneven terrain. Tour may not be suitable for travelers with altitude-related health concerns.
Meeting & Pickup
Hotel pickup is included for accommodations located within the San Pedro de Atacama urban zone. Hotels located in outlying Ayllu communities may require a designated meeting point. Summer pickup window: approximately 5:00 AM to 5:40 AM. Winter pickup window: approximately 4:30 AM to 5:10 AM. Exact pickup time will be confirmed prior to departure.
