Meeting & Pickup
George Town has three ship terminals: 1. Royal Watler Terminal 2. North Terminal 3. South Terminal Please be advised that cruise ships anchoring in Grand Cayman require guests to take a small boat, known as a tender, to reach shore. It is important to line up early for tenders, as it can take up to 60 minutes to disembark and reach shore. If your ship tenders to Royal Watler Terminal: Your tour departs from inside the Royal Watler Cruise Terminal. Upon disembarking, please exit through security and continue walking straight ahead along the waterfront. Please proceed to the last tent with a white canopy and look for the CAYTOURS sign. The local representative will be waiting there to check you in. If your ship tenders to the North Terminal or South Terminal: Your tour departs from inside the Royal Watler Cruise Terminal, which is an approximate 3 to 5-minute walk from the tender pier. Upon disembarking, please ask port security for directions to the Royal Watler Terminal. Once there, exit through security and continue walking straight ahead along the waterfront. Please proceed to the last tent with a white canopy and look for the CAYTOURS sign. The local representative will be waiting there. In the event of bad weather, and your ship tenders to Spotts Dock: Your tour will depart directly from Spotts Dock. Upon disembarking, please remain at Spotts Dock and look for the local representative holding a CAYTOURS sign for easy identification. To ensure a smooth departure, please plan to arrive at the designated meeting location at least 15 minutes before the scheduled tour departure time. Staying at a hotel or Airbnb? What travelers are saying
We enjoyed this tour with Nancy as our guide. She gave us lots of information on the history of Grand Cayman and answered all of our questions. The Cayman Turtle Center was educational, and we stop at the Tortuga Rum Cake Outlet was delicious. It was a fun time.
We were unable to take this tour based on Project Expedition inaccurately advertising the length of the other tour we had scheduled while in Grand Cayman. Before I booked both tours, I asked if the timing would work and still get us back to our ship on time and was assured there would be no issues, even after we changed the dates of our cruise and the port times were changed. Our travel agent tried to no avail to get us a refund for their mistake and Project Expedition refused all attempts to rectify their error.
Ariel was a great guide. Very informative, personable, and funny. I enjoyed this tour and highly recommend to learn about Cayman.
Damean our tour guide was fantastic!
We were supposed to have a private tour, but the driver did not show up, so only part of our tour was private; the other part was done with a group. The private driver, who we understood was the head of Cay Tours. was very knowledgeable, and we enjoyed the information he shared when he picked us up half-way through the tour.
