The Experience

What your day looks like

Sit back and relax in a clean, air-conditioned bus while friendly and experienced tour guides take you on an unforgettable excursion along the west side of Grand Cayman. Your journey begins with a visit to the famous Seven Mile Beach, the Governor’s House, and the Old Homestead House. The Old Homestead, commonly known as “the Pink House,” is one of the most photographed homes on the island. Built in 1912 by Mr. Phillip Bothwell, this charming Caymanian cottage was most recently used as a tourist attraction, showcasing traditional Caymanian culture and heritage. Next, take a trip to the uniquely named attraction, Hell. Located in the district of West Bay, Hell is well known for its striking black limestone formations that date back over 24 million years. Legends surround its unusual name, but no matter the origin, it remains one of Grand Cayman’s most famous stops. Don’t forget to send a postcard from Hell to friends and family. Your excursion continues with the option to visit either the Cayman Turtle Center or Dolphin Discovery Park, conveniently located next to each other. You can watch these beautiful marine mammals perform. At the Cayman Turtle Center, you’ll enjoy firsthand encounters with turtles and learn about important conservation programs. Depending on the season (April–September), you may even see hatchlings emerging from the sand. The Turtle Center also offers a range of other attractions, including an Education Centre, shark and predator exhibits, and interactive “Shark Talks” during feeding times. In the Aviary, you’ll find colorful birds of Cayman and the Caribbean, including the Cayman Parrot, the national bird. Many will happily eat right from your hand. Stroll along the nature trail to see the island’s native flowers and trees, including the national flower. On your way back to the cruise ship, you’ll stop once more at Seven Mile Beach for photos. If you wish, you may also choose to end your tour here to enjoy a swim or simply relax on the beach before returning to your ship.

A fairly good tour. The tour guide was very informative regarding the area with extensive knowledge of history since he's lived there for many years. The bus was comfortable, the driver was very kind. There's not a lot to see but if you like getting around town without a lot of indepth interaction, this is a good fit expecially for the price.
