Cayman Crystal Caves, Pedro St James Castle & Mission House Tour
What your day looks like
Stop At: Cayman Crystal Caves, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands Continuing the tour to one of the latest and most recent tourist destinations in the Cayman Islands, we reach the Cayman Crystal Caves. These caves were recently discovered in the 1990s and the family that owned this land have now actively converted this to a tourist attraction after restoring and working on these caves for about 2 decades. You will venture into amazing caves where you’ll see stalactite and stalagmite crystal structures and otherworldly formations, formed by single drops of water and the slow passage of time. Amongst the forest and caves are captivating tropical plant and animal life, including strangler balsam trees, air plants, parrots, and bats. All visitors receive guided walking tours. Tours are approximately 1 ½ hour and take you through the surrounding tropical forest area and 3 caves spectacular. Stop At: Pedro St. James National Historic Site, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands The first stop on this tour is the famous Pedro St James Castle which is the oldest standing building in Grand Cayman. Built in 1801, at a time in the Cayman Islands when most people lived in tiny, thatch-covered houses, a wealthy Englishman, using slave labor from Jamaica, created an astonishing 3-story building called Pedro St. James. Here you can explore the main building, the castle gardens, and gazebo and also experience a multi-sensory 3D presentation at the Pedro Theatre. Stop At: Mission House, Bodden Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands Moving on, we then continue to our next stop- The Mission House. The Mission House is a historic house located in Bodden Town, Grand Cayman. The house rose to prominence in the 1800s and became known as the "Mission House" because of early missionaries, teachers, and families who lived there. Today, the house has been made into a museum that showcases relics which tell the tale of how life was lived on the Cayman Islands centuries ago. Along with housing a small resource room and the Cayman Islands National Archive, Mission House retains some of the original decors from past owners, allowing today’s guest to get a feel for how life has been on the island for generations.

Once you arrive at the Royal Watler Terminal and exit through security, you should continue walking straight, and you will see a tent with a white canopy, hanging above a sign with the word “CAYTOURS” this is where our dispatch team will be. The tour departs from the dispatch booth at the Royal Terminal. Guests tendering to the North and South Terminal: You must make your way over to the Royal Watler Terminal (you can ask the port security for directions), where you will be met by Cay Tours personnel holding a sign with the word “CAYTOURS” for easy identification.
