As you walk up along the ocean coast path, passing small villages of people with their plantations, men, women, children, and even animals all have a role in the village, and here you will see how they make it all come together. With our knowledgeable local guide, you will learn about life in these villages. Along the way, you will find donkeys carrying water canisters. The coastal views are enormous, strong waves and currents crash against the coastline, and although you may be tempted to test the waters, it is a very dangerous coast; there is no swimming here! From Fontainhas to Formiguinhas and Corvo, you will find religious scriptures engraved in stone along the road. Upon arriving at Cruzinha, you will be captivated by its breathtaking coastal views and the remarkable makeshift port. While the fishing lifestyle here poses risks, it is an exhilarating experience to witness the village’s vibrant activity.
