What your day looks like
Welcome to one of the most welcoming and beautiful Islands, with its small, vibrant cosmopolitan city, full of life, day and night! Hear about our history, culture, and lifestyle. Enjoy the architectural style of our colorful buildings. Visit the bustling markets of Mindelo: Fish Market, African Market, and Municipal Market (closed on Sundays). From the lookout point, we will have the best views of Mindelo, Monte Cara, and Laginha Beach. Take a scenic drive to the top of Monte Verde, a natural and protected park, the highest peak in Sao Vicente. Head to the small charming seaside fishing villages on the Island. Take a swim in the clear blue lagoon of Baía das Gatas, and marvel at the contrasting long beach coastline. Calhau is an oasis! A charming small farming and fishing village, also home to Vulcao Viana, one of the oldest extinct volcanoes on the Island. In the valley of Calhau, we will see traditional farming by hand, animals, water wells, and windmills.

What to Bring
- Wear your bathing suit and bring a towel for a swim at Baia das Gatas Beach, if desired (there is no place to change your clothing) - Wear comfortable clothing, shoes, sun protection and bring a bottle of water
Meeting & Pickup
Pick up and drop off at Porto Grande Exit / Entrance gate (we will meet you by the administrative offices, about a 5-minute walk from the ship). We will have a sign with your name, and GREEN LINE TOURS staff will be ready to assist.
