Enjoy the majestic Saguenay Fjord Start your cruise with a one-hour getaway into the majestic Saguenay Fjord, featuring steep rock walls up to 450 meters high and breathtaking scenery. Then, set out to encounter the giants of the sea in the comfort of our boats specifically designed for observing the 13 species of whales found in the Saguenay St. Lawrence Marine Park, including fin whales, humpback whales, porpoises, blue whales, and belugas, to name a few. Throughout this excursion, you will be accompanied by our certified naturalist guide who will teach you all about the marine mammals and the fjord. What to Expect: • The Site: Board from the beautiful Charlevoix region or Tadoussac, the most beautiful village in Quebec, also internationally recognized as the best place in the world to observe whales. • Duration: This whale-watching cruise on an observation boat lasts approximately 3 hours. The first hour is dedicated to exploring and interpreting the Saguenay Fjord with our naturalist. The next two hours are devoted to whale watching in their natural habitat. Professional Guide: All our whale-watching cruises are narrated and commented on by experienced and certified naturalist guides. • Panoramic View: Enjoy the outdoor decks specially designed for marine mammal observation or the comfort of our fully glazed interior rooms with a 180-degree panoramic view. • Memorable Souvenirs: You will have the chance to take photos and create unforgettable memories with the planet's most majestic creatures. Onboard Amenities: Enjoy our Bistro, which offers a variety of meals to savor on one of our two fully glazed decks. Our boats are also equipped with full bathrooms. • Whale Guarantee: Our observation rate is exceedingly high. Since the marine park is a natural environment, sometimes the mammals can be more discreet. No worries, if no sightings are made, you will be invited back on board for another whale-watching cruise and exploration of the Saguenay Fjord at no charge. • Tips and Tricks: If you are driving from Montreal or Quebec City for just one day, prioritize departure from Baie-Ste-Catherine, avoiding the Tadoussac ferry and saving you a few minutes.
