The journey, in full
Meet your guide at one of Vancouver’s most historic craft beer districts, just a short 10-minute ride from downtown and the cruise terminal. We begin at a historic brewery set inside a beautifully restored 1913 industrial building in the heart of the Mount Pleasant neighborhood (aka Brewery Creek). Enjoy your first guided tasting and sample fresh small-batch beers while learning about Vancouver’s craft beer history. You’ll get special access to the production area and a chance to try rare cask ale, one of the few places in the country where it is regularly featured. Between brewery stops, you’ll enjoy a guided walking tour through Mount Pleasant, one of Vancouver’s most creative and character-filled neighbourhoods. Along the way, take in vibrant street art, local history, and insider tips on great restaurants, bars, and shopping in the area. Our next brewery visit is with one of the pioneers of Vancouver’s craft beer scene. Known for bold, playful beers and a welcoming local atmosphere, this stop includes another curated tasting as your guide shares stories about the brewery, the neighbourhood, and the people who helped shape the city’s beer culture. We finish at a modern microbrewery known for creativity, community values, and an approachable tasting experience. Enjoy your final tasting in a relaxed setting while discovering more about Vancouver’s local culture, with time for conversation and personalized food and drink recommendations for the rest of your stay. The tour ends only a few blocks from where we started. Continue your evening with dinner, more drinks, or further exploring nearby neighborhoods like Olympic Village.
