What your day looks like
Welcome to the Secret Food Tours: Toronto! On our tour, we'll take you to some of the most iconic restaurants and dishes in Old Toronto, and you'll learn about the history and culture of this great city. You'll get a delicious mix of sweet and savory foods, and you'll also get to see some of the city's most beautiful architecture. Our journey starts at the St. Lawrence Market, Toronto’s historic marketplace dating back over 200 years. First up, we’ll visit a local fish market where you’ll sample wild-caught sockeye salmon cured in Canadian maple syrup. Then we'll visit a pub known for making one of the best versions of the "peameal bacon sandwich", also known as Canadian bacon. Next, you'll indulge in a popular no-bake dessert whose origin is shrouded in mystery. After leaving the market, you'll unearth an Indian-inspired dish that has taken Toronto by surprise and is now a staple of the city's street food scene. And for a great end, you'll devour the mouth-watering goodness of a classic Canadian pastry, the famous Butter Tart. As with all our tours, there is also our delicious Secret Dish.

Please meet at St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts, 27 Front St. E., Toronto. ON M5E 1B4 Across from Berczy Park. Tour Endpoint: The tour ends at the Irish Embassy Pub at 49 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M5E 1J1, steps from major transit hubs such as the TTC subway line 1 and Union station. This will give you transit connections to Downtown Toronto, Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Niagara Region, with connections to VIA trains, GO Trains/Buses and the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC).
